The scale of these objects is kind of hard to appreciate until you see one hovering over a city skyline.
This project makes visible to the human eye the patterns of desert winds. During the day, sunlight projects patterned shadow drawings onto the ground and pedestrians on their daily paths. At night, the colored illumination gradually changes color through the seasons. The large three-dimensional multi-layered form is created by a combination of hand and machine knotting of recyclable high-tenacity colored polyester that is replaced in new color variations at intervals.

The stirrer of choice in Portugal is clear plastic. The discarded ones make one delicate and crystal-like chandelier.

The IIDA/HD Product Design Competition is a collaboration between IIDA and Hospitality Design. 3form took Best of Competition honors for Ditto, their entry in the wall coverings and treatments category.
Several international businesses have already taken advantage of KML 22’s unique aesthetic and easy, seamless installation, examples of which include, in no particular order, a pair of Airport Control Towers in Christchurch, NZ; the Dish Restaurant and Lounge in Dallas; a showroom at last year’s Salon del Mobile; and a chandelier Shade at Perth’s Berthwood Casino.

Sketchpad is a Html 5 run super basic Photoshop esq. internet based <canvas> . Before Html 5 something like this featured on the web would have been created in flash…. we should soon see some pretty amazing sites on the internet using this new standard of coding.
Sketchpad includes a number of Drawing Tools — including: Text, Shape, Spirograph, Brush, Calligraphy, Pencil, Paint-Bucket, and Stamp. These tools can be used together with the provided database of Colors, Gradients, and Patterns — or you can create you own custom styles by clicking on the “COLOR”, “GRADIENT”, or “PATTERN” tabs on the top-bar. Sketchpad also includes a few generic Drawing Utilities — including: Marquee, Crop, Eraser, and a HSL/RGBA Color-Picker. Be sure to click on “LIGHT” mode on the top-bar for extra fun.

AliasSketch essentially represents the combination of what we do in Photoshop (but has the feel of Sketchbook Pro) and Illustrator. This is the first release so, some of the grid/measurement tools aren’t included just yet. But give it some time.
